Crepeau, Jr. Roll Ca II Present - Mayor Henry J. Crepeau, Jr. , Counci Imen James Wingert, ..~ Robert Woodburn, Charles Crichton. Absent - Counci lman Wi Iliam Feyereisen. Also Present - Treasurer Donald Lamb, Police Chief Pat Sexton, Sui Iding Inspector Larry Squires, Clerk Administrator Charlotte McNiesh, Deputy Clerk Dorothy Zehm. . Approval of I~inutes Crichton moved, seconded by Woodburn, that the Minutes of the Special Counc i I I~eeti ng of December 22, 1975, be approved as amended. MOTion carried unanimously. WingerT moved, seconded by Crichton, that the Minutes of the Special Counci I Meeting of Decembe r 17, 1975, be approved as submitted. I~oti on carried unanimously. BUSINESS FRm1 THE FLOOR None. REPORT OF VILLAGE POLICE CHIEF PAT SEXTON Proposed Reserve Officer Program SexTon reported that eleven or twelve applications have been rece i ved to date for the proposed Reserve Officer Program; first class of the Police Reserve Training Course wi II start on Janu- ary 7th. Sexton explained the screening o'i applicants procedure by Ramsey County, prior to submission of list of applicants to Counc! I for app reva I . Sexton suggested that the'first unit organized In Arden Hi lis should consist of 4 to 6 persons. After discussion, Woodburn moved, seconded by Crichton, that Council authorize an A rd en H I I Is Reserve unit, consisting of up to six people, to be enrol led In the January, 1976 Pol ice Training Course. 110t ion carried unanimously. After discussion, Crichton moved, seconded by Woodburn, that Council authorize the attendance of Officer Mel Fish at the 21st Annual Juvenl Ie OfficGr's Insti tute on Feb rua ry 4, 5 and 6 at the She ;'a'ron Nor';'hwest, Brooklyn Park, ai' a cost of $40.00. .
