Approval of I~inutes <br /> Crichton moved, seconded by Woodburn, that the Minutes of the <br /> Special Counc i I I~eeti ng of December 22, 1975, be approved as <br /> amended. MOTion carried unanimously. <br /> WingerT moved, seconded by Crichton, that the Minutes of the <br /> Special Counci I Meeting of Decembe r 17, 1975, be approved as <br /> submitted. I~oti on carried unanimously. <br /> BUSINESS FRm1 THE FLOOR <br /> None. <br /> REPORT OF VILLAGE POLICE CHIEF PAT SEXTON <br /> Proposed Reserve Officer Program <br /> SexTon reported that eleven or twelve applications have been <br /> rece i ved to date for the proposed Reserve Officer Program; first <br /> class of the Police Reserve Training Course wi II start on Janu- <br /> ary 7th. <br /> Sexton explained the screening o'i applicants procedure by Ramsey <br /> County, prior to submission of list of applicants to Counc! I for <br /> app reva I . Sexton suggested that the'first unit organized In <br /> Arden Hi lis should consist of 4 to 6 persons. <br /> After discussion, Woodburn moved, seconded by Crichton, that <br /> Council authorize an A rd en H I I Is Reserve unit, consisting of up <br /> to six people, to be enrol led In the January, 1976 Pol ice <br /> Training Course. 110t ion carried unanimously. <br /> (Council noted that speci fics 0'( the program wi II be resolved <br /> over the next few months.) <br /> 21st Annual Juvenile Officers Meeting <br /> Sexton referred Counci I to his memo of 12/22/75, and atTached <br /> Institute Program. <br /> After discussion, Crichton moved, seconded by Woodburn, that <br /> Council authorize the attendance of Officer Mel Fish at the <br /> 21st Annual Juvenl Ie OfficGr's Insti tute on Feb rua ry 4, 5 and 6 <br /> at the She ;'a'ron Nor';'hwest, Brooklyn Park, ai' a cost of $40.00. <br /> .
