<br />It was noted that Village acquIsition of a road easement along the
<br />east side of Flaherty's'Arden Bowl would be necessary, This matter
<br />was referred to Lynden for his report to Councl I as to procedural
<br />recommendations to Implement the proposed one-way loop.

<br />In discussion of the proposed Connelly Avenue one-way loop street,
<br />Counci I concurred that Connelly Avenue should be curbed along both
<br />sldes, and lighting should be Improved In this area,
<br />

<br />Feyerelsen reported that he has been negotiating with Cardiac Pace-
<br />makers. Inc. re park dedication with respect to the Cardiac Pace-
<br />ma~er's Inc. proposed 9-acre development on County Road F and Hamline
<br />Avenue, advising that It Is anticipated that this matter can be
<br />resolved by the Councl I meeting on June9th,
<br />
<br />Case No. 75-21. Judith Tacheny - Sldeyard Variance
<br />Wingert moved, seconded by Feyereisen, that Council approve the 4'
<br />sldayard variance and I' aggregate sldeyard variance, for construction
<br />of a garage at 1385 Forest Lane, Motion carried unanimously,

<br />Off-sale Liquor License, Kenneth Streeter - Arden Plaza
<br />McNl.,sll referred Council to letter from Lynden (5/27775) re application
<br />and bond submitted by Kenneth Streeter for an Off-sale Liquor License
<br />at Arden Plaza,
<br />
<br />McNlesh advised that the Police Department has completed Its Investiga-
<br />tion aBd approves the applicant,
<br />
<br />Crichton moved, seconded by Wingert, that Council approve issuance
<br />of an Off-sale Liquor License to Village Liquors North, Inc" subject
<br />to corrected application as noted by Attorney Lynden. Motion carried
<br />unanimously,

<br />CrIchton moved, seconded by Feyerelsen, that Counci I approve'the Payrol I
<br />as presented. Motion carried unanimously,

<br />(Council concurred that "work week" be defined as midnight Sunday to
<br />midnig~t Sunday for all VI I lage departments, except the Police Depart-
<br />ment, )

<br />Office Employees
<br />McNlesh referred Council to her memo of 5/23/75 re employment of
<br />Shirley Marshall as Recording Secretary for the Public Works Committee,
<br />Parks and Recreation Committee and Human Rights Commission.

<br />Wingert moved, seconded by Feyerelsen, that Councl I approve the employ-
<br />ment of Shirley Marshai J at $2,75/hr., effective June I, 1975, Motion
<br />carried unanimously,

<br />McNlesh reported that Mrs. Ida Adair has completed her 6-month pro-
<br />bationary period, and recommended that Councl I approve her employment
<br />as a ragular permanent employee at $2,aO/hr, effectIve June I, 1975.
<br />
<br />Crichton moved, seconded by Feyereisen, that Council approve the employ-
<br />me~t of Ida Adair as a regular permanent employee at $2,80/hr, effec-
<br />tive June 1, 1975; salary to be reviewed when Vi Ilage salaries are
<br />next r,vlewed by Council, Motion carried unanimously.

<br />Hunters Park Fourth Addition - Change In Water Utility Easement
<br />Council concurred that the requested easement change be referred to
<br />the Public Works Committee and Village Engineer for their recommenda-
<br />tions for Council consideration at meeting on June 9th.

<br />McNiesh referred Council to proposed Budget Calendar for 1976, asking
<br />that Council advise her of any changes prior to distribution of the
<br />calendar to the various Committees next week,
