Page three <br /> <br />Joint Powers A.9.!:~ment Re Warming Houses and Hockey Rin!<s at Mounds <br />View High SChool and Johanna Jr. High School <br />Lynden referred Council to copies of the Joint Powers Agreement, which <br />ha~ been d i stri buted to the Counc i I. . <br /> <br />After review and discussion, Wingert moved, seconded by Feyerelsen, <br />that Counci I approve the Joint Powers Agreement for Mounds View <br />High School and Johanna Jr. High School Warming Houses and Rinks, as <br />submitted; authorizing its execution by the Mayor and Clerk Adminis- <br />trator; copies to be sent to School District No. 621 for their review <br />and approval. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Re-scheduled McDonald's Hearing <br />Lynden reported that the McDonald hearing has been re-scheduled to Feb- <br />ruary 18, 1975, and requested Counci I authorization to do a statistical <br />survey re percentage of customers buying goo~to take out and percen- <br />. tage of customers eating in The establ ishments; askIng assistance in <br />geTtIng volunTeers ~ survey to be conducted at various eating places <br />, in the area (McGuires, Steak Inn, Blue Fox, Big Ten Supper Club, other <br />McDonalds etc.) He asked for all available statistics obtained pre- <br />viously, hopefully including times of day, day of week, etc. <br /> <br />Feyereisen agreed to pose the matter to the StaTistics Department at <br />Mounds View High School, as a statlscal study for the students. <br /> <br />Water Meter Deposit <br />Lynden refer'red Council to the New Brighton and Roseville methods of <br />handling water meter deposits; stating he has a few questions to re- <br />solve before recommending a method for Arden Hi I Is. <br /> <br />After discussion, McNlesh was requested to obtain a ~opy of New Brigh- <br />ton's Ordinance for Lynden's review. <br /> <br />Matter was deferred to Council Meeting of January 13, 1975. <br /> <br />Resolution ~doptlng 1975 Fire PrOTeCTion Contract <br />Crichton moved, seconded by Wingert, thaT Councl I adopt Resolution <br />No. 74-44, RESOLUTION APPROVING 1975 FIRE PROTECTION SERVICE AGREEMENT <br />.h....1nQ..~TJj.gjlLz..!.~G EXECUT I ON THEREOF, as amended; add i ng paragraph list I ng <br />--'~ outlined In Counci I motion approving the contract (Council <br />Minutes of 12-23-74); authorizing its execution by the Mayor and Clerk <br />Administrator. Motion carrIed unanimously. <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE ENGINEER DONALD LUND <br />(absent) <br /> <br />Bethel Master Meter <br />McNiesh referred Council to letter 'from Engineer Donald Christofferten <br />(12-27-74) re information requested re Application for Payment No. I <br />from Lee Richert Plumbing and Heating, Inc. <br /> <br />After discussion, Crichton moved, seconded by Feyereisen, that Council <br />aUThorize payment to Lee Richert Plumbing and Heating, Inc., in the <br />amount of $8,604, as requested in Application for Payment No.1 Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />. REPORT OF COUNCILMAN JAMES WINGERT - Planning and Zoning, Board of <br />Appeals <br /> <br />4It Schwab-Vollhab~r Bullilng Addition - Status ReporT <br />Wingert reported the fol lowing pending Items: <br /> <br />I. Landscape Plan, as revised, to go to the Highway Departm~nt <br />for approval of planting In right-of-way. <br />2. Paving and Curbing Plan is to be submitted to Vii lage Engi- <br />neer and Council for approval. <br />3.
