Ihlrd Addition - Preliminary Plat <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Engineer Lund referred the Council to his letter of July 2, 1974, <br />written In response to letter from Mr. Len Olson of Bether, Ringrose <br />and Wolsfeld, recommending controlled entrance conu.ltlons to the <br />southwest pond with storm sewer outlet llmi~ed to 24 CFS. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Mro Olson described the existing land contours and proposed plan <br />to deepen the ditch two feet so that the overflow elevation would <br />be 914 Instead of the formerly proposed 916; providing greater <br />assurance that an overflow condition would be contained and <br />allowed to flow westerly. Mr. Olson said they are working with <br />residents to the south of this area and propose to blend the <br />terraIn with the properties south of the Dreyfus development so <br />that water would flo; westerly overland without backup onto local <br />residents' property. Olson explained that certain lots In the <br />Dreyfus development will necessarily be restrls:ted to "no basement" <br />~~~~~~~Ld"-~ <br /> <br />After discussion, Wingert moved, seconded by Feyereisen, that the <br />Council approve the Preliminary Plat of ~unters Park, Third Addition, <br />contingent upon acceptance by Dreyfus Corp. and Arden Hills of <br />Development Agreement, to be drawn by Village Attorney, detailing <br />drainage re~ulrements. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Access Road to C':ou!!!L. Road E <br /> <br />Engineer Lund referred the Council to his letter of JUly 22, 1974, <br />re estimated cost for preparation of a feasibility study concerning <br />the westerly extension of Harrle+ Avenue with access to County <br />Road E. <br /> <br />. <br />
