Therefore, the applicant had complied with Conditions #4, #5 and #6 of the Planning <br />Commission recommendations. <br /> <br />Mr. Ringwald noted that the landscaping had been blended into one plan, where before the <br />stadium and the storage shed were two separate plans. He discussed the reasons behind the <br />species of trees being changed. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst inquired if the new building would match the existing building. Mr. Bruce <br />Kunkel of Bethel College stated that it would match, and would appear to be one continuous <br />building. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Hicks moved and Malone seconded a motion to approve Plarming Case #97-14, <br />subject to the six Plarming Commission recommendations as outlined in the <br />memo. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />C-4. Planning Case #97-13, AmberJack, Ltd.!fom Brunmeier, 4300 Round Lake Road, <br />Special Use Permit (SUP) <br /> <br />Mr. Ringwald stated the applicant was requesting approval of a Special Use Permit (SUP) to <br />install three above-ground storage tanks adjacent to the rear of the building. This building is <br />leased to MSL, an electronics manufacturer. The utilization of the above-ground nitrogen tanks, <br />which the applicant is requesting approval of, are a critical component of the manufacturing <br />process which MSL will be conducting in this facility. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission recommended approval of this case subject to the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />I. Provision of fencing, slates and tanks to match the color of the adjacent exterior wall; <br />2. Provision of additional landscaping as outlined in Exhibit B, page 2 of 2; <br />3. Replacement of existing vegetation on the conservation easement as determined by the <br />City Forester on the Supplemental Memo dated 7/2/97 by September I, 1997 - <br />replacement materials to be approved by staff; and <br />4. Staff will work with the applicant in choosing an appropriate species oftree. <br /> <br />Mr. Ringwald showed an overhead slide of the area in question, and one of the approved <br />landscaping plan. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst requestcd clarification that the applicant was agreeable to those conditions. Mr. <br />Ringwald stated that was correct. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Keirn moved and Aplikowski seconded a motion to approve PI arming Case #97- <br />13, subject to thc four Planning Commission recommendations as outlined in the <br />memo. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br />
