<br />e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />SPECIAL JOINT CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 22, 1997 <br />7:00 P ,M, - ARMY RESERVE CENTER, 4655 NORTH LEXINGTON AVENUE <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a joint meeting of Cities of Arden Hills, North <br />Oaks and Shoreview was called to order at 7:00 p,m, <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Dennis Probst; Councilmembers Beverly Aplikowski, Susan Keirn and <br />Paul Malone; City Administrator, Brian Fritsinger; and Public Works <br />Superintendent, Dwayne Stafford; Council representatives for the Cities of <br />North Oaks and Shoreview. <br /> <br />Absent: Councilmember, Dale Hicks, <br /> <br />JOINT FIRE SERVICES CONTRACT <br />The City Councils discussed the upcoming contract negotiations to be held with the Lake <br />Johanna Volunteer Fire Department (LJVFD). The City Administrators were directed to begin <br />negotiations and work with City Attorney Filla and the LJVFD to see if a Joint Powers <br />Agreement could be prepared. <br /> <br />HIGHWAY 96 RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT <br />The City's also discussed the status of the Highway 96 reconstruction project.
