ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL — APRIL 14, 2025 5 <br />Mr. Ongstad stated cable penetration has slipped from 50% to 25%. He reported he has worked <br />to make things more efficient and was completing outside work to compensate for lost revenue. <br />He reported PEG fees have been at 3% for quite some time, noting he hopes to extend the current <br />agreement with 5% PEG fees. <br />Councilmember Holden commented she would like to see a list of videos that the City has put <br />together, along with what the other member communities have created. <br />Councilmember Weber stated there was a proposal being considered by the State that would put <br />franchise fees on broadband services. <br />Mr. Ongstad noted this bill failed again this year but may be considered again next year. <br />Mayor Grant thanked Mr. Ongstad for his presentation. <br />6.
