ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL APRIL 28, 2025 15 <br />conditions. He stated he was open to another proposal, but he has limits on how much his budget <br />can absorb. <br />Mayor Grant questioned how much his budget could absorb. <br />Mr. Fink stated if the Council could agree to a cap he would need to speak to his partners, but he <br />could agree to $100,000. He did not know if he could absorb a $200,000 expense. <br />Councilmember Monson requested the Mayor call the question. <br />A roll call vote was taken. The motion failed 2-2 (Councilmember Holden and <br />Mayor Grant opposed). <br />MOTION: Councilmember Monson moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a <br />motion to adopt Resolution #2025-040 — Amending City Resolution 2025-007 <br />to revise Condition 28 in the conditions of approval of a Master and Final <br />Planned Unit Development and Conditional Use Permit for Lot 1, Block 1 for <br />the Arden Heights Addition, with costs in excess of $200,000 be incurred by <br />the Applicant. <br />Councilmember Weber stated he could support setting the cap at $250,000. <br />Councilmember Holden called the question. <br />A roll call vote was taken. The motion failed 3-1 (Councilmember Weber <br />opposed). <br />MOTION: Councilmember Monson moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a <br />motion to adopt Resolution #2025-040 — Amending City Resolution 2025-007 <br />to revise Condition 28 in the conditions of approval of a Master and Final <br />Planned Unit Development and Conditional Use Permit for Lot 1, Block 1 for <br />the Arden Heitzhts Addition, with costs in in excess of $250,000 be incurred by <br />the Applicant. <br />Mayor Grant asked if this item were passed could the applicant come back to the City prior to <br />filing the Final Plat with another proposal. <br />City Administrator Jagoe reported this was the case. <br />Councilmember Holden called the question. <br />A roll call vote was taken. The motion failed 2-2 (Councilmember Holden and <br />Mayor Grant opposed). <br />MOTION: Councilmember Monson moved to table action on this item to the May 121 <br />2025 City Council meeting.
