<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />PARKS, TRAILS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE MEETING <br />TUESDAY, APRIL 15, 2025, 6:30 PM <br />ARDEN HILLS CITY HALL <br /> <br />CALL MEETING TO ORDER <br /> <br />Committee Chair Dan Dietz called the April 15, 2025 meeting of the Parks, Trails, and Recreation <br />Committee to order at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Dan Dietz, Eva Acosta, Kerri Seemann, Derek Hilding, Sarah Julius, <br />Nikhath Nazir Ahmed, Nancy Jacobson, Lacy Loosbrock, Amelia Rogers and Kate Olson <br /> <br />OTHERS PRESENT: Recreation Supervisor Matt Johnson and Council Liaison Emily Rousseau <br /> <br />ABSENT:. Liz Johnson <br /> <br />New Committee Members Sarah “SJ” Julius and Nikhath Nazir Ahmed introduced <br />themselves and took the New Member Oath. <br /> <br />1. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />MOTION: Committee Member Jacobson moved, and Committee Member Olson seconded <br />a motion to approve the meeting agenda. The motion carried unanimously among members <br />present. <br /> <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />A. March 18, 2025 PTRC Minutes <br /> <br />MOTION: Committee Member Olson moved and Committee Member Hilding seconded a <br />motion to approve the meeting minutes as written. The motion carried unanimously among <br />members present. <br /> <br />3. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. Park Master Plan Presentation <br /> <br />Bryce Shearen of Bolton and Menk introduced himself and presented the components included <br />in the Park Master Plan Proposal. A Park Master Plan is a comprehensive document that outlines <br />the long term vision of a community’s Parks and Recreation facilities, goals, strategies and <br />priorities for development, management and maintenance. Community input is a key part of this <br />process. This helps ensure the plan will reflect the needs of residents and future generations. <br /> <br />
