I to letter from Sui Idlng Inspector <br />Larry Squires requesting a revised parking plan, and to Reverend <br />Hagstrom's letter substantiating the adequ~cy of the revised number of <br />parking spaces. <br /> <br />Horty presented a revised parking plan, depicting alternate parking <br />areas (dated 12/27/76), Horty reviewed the ori~lnal plan which <br />required a total of 152 spaces - 62 of which were to be underground. <br />Horty explained that the underground parking was deleted from the plan <br />because of high cost of construction. <br /> <br />Horty explained that in the original plan, 226 beds were proposed In <br />the geriatric care center - current plan Is for 208 beds. Horty said <br />that he used the St. Louis Park Ordinance for required spaces for <br />nursing care facilities - 5 spaces + I for each 5 beds. 5 + 208 = 42 + <br />. 5 <br />5 = 47~a decrease In number of required spaces from the original <br />submittal cf 55 for the new geriatric center. (Total site requirement <br />is reduced from 152 to 136 - plan shows 152 existing and future <br />expans I on). <br /> <br />. After discussion. Wingert moved, seconded by Hanson, that Counci I approve <br />the revised parking plan as amended (Qated received 12/27/76) and <br />specified on the drawing. Motion carried unanimously, <br /> <br />(Plan, as amended, Indicates "residents only" area at 24 spaces (8 min.) <br />and/or possible expansion of main parking area of 110 to 120 (if needed); <br />future parking of 15 (unchanged). Total required minimum is amended to <br />136 spaces.) <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE TREASURER DONALD LAMB <br /> <br />Investments <br />December 17, 1976 - $150,000 at 5.1% for I year. <br /> <br />Hanson moved that Council ratify the investment.
