Council <br />did not suggest this as a piCk-Up point - a turn area only. City <br />would cooperate to see that area Is adequatMy plowed. <br /> <br />Zoninq Ordinance <br />Wingert suggested thet Councl I consider the addition of a "Public <br />Use Zone" In the proposed Zoning Ordinance, to cover colleges, bus <br />barns, schools, Village buildings etc. and applying regulations <br />for th I s zone. <br /> <br />Woodburn noted the fol lowing apparent omissions in the new ordlnence, <br />wlllch ere covered In the existing Zoning Ordinance:, <br /> <br />I. Minimum floor area for a resIdence. (Check to see If <br />reason for this is that It Is regulated by the U.B.C.l. <br />2. Required number of parking soaces for Industrlel and <br />commercial sites. (no number requirements ere Included). <br />3. Height restriction of 35' In residential zone seems <br />excessive. <br />4. "Commercially licensed" (page 3-10, vehlc!e parking d.) <br />Refer to Attorney Lynden to comment ,re whnt vehicles <br />require a commercial license; apparently Home yehlcles <br />used as trucks do not require a commercia, license, and <br />some station wagons etc. are commllrclally llcer.sod. <br />5 p. 4-26, A. Enforcing Officer suggested this should <br />probably be the Building Inspector (suggested this rortlon <br />be referred to Attorney to ra-wrl'l'...) <br />6 Dwolllnn Unit - not daflnArl. <br />1.
