She asked if she receives the information Council
has requested, could this be scheduled for the next council meeting. This was an item scheduled
for a previous work session and it was bumped to tonight. The Sheriff's Department is looking for
all of the Contract Cities to have their Council decisions by the end of May.
Mayor Grant asked if Council is good with moving this to the May 27t' Council Meeting,
assuming they get the information requested.
Councilmember Monson said she wants answers to all of Councilmember Rousseau's
questions.
Mayor Grant asked if Council would like to schedule a Special Work Session.
Councilmember Weber said he was going to recommend a Special Work Session when we get
to agenda planning because we are falling behind. Old Snelling Speed Limit Discussion
Mayor Grant said it has been proposed that the speed limit should be 40 MPH.
Councilmember Holden said that is a well utilized road for pedestrians walking their dogs. It
will be used even more once the Roseville trail is connected. If it's 35 MPH, they're going to go
40. If we make it 40 MPH they're going to go 45-50.
Councilmember Weber would support 35 MPH.
Mayor Grant would support 35 MPH.
