Plan Evaluation <br />Variance Requirements – Section 1355.04, Subd. 4 <br />Character of Neighborhood. The variance, if granted, will not alter the <br />essential character of the neighborhood. <br />•The Applicant states that the intent of the proposed variance would <br />allow for a reasonable building footprint while maintaining <br />appropriate distances from all surrounding structures and streets. It <br />is stated that the proposed relocation of the driveway aligns with the <br />neighborhood’s typical layout, enhances overall safety and visual <br />consistency and enhances the character of the block. <br />13
