Water Distribution System Hydraulic Model Calibration and System Evaluation Report
Chapter 2 – Existing Water Distribution System
December 2019

P05049-2019-000 Page 8

2.1.5 Pressure Zones
Arden Hills’ water distribution system is comprised of two pressure zones that serve elevations
from 827 to 1,010 feet (ft) above mean sea level. A number of closed valves are used to separate
the two zones. The South Tower provides elevated storage for the south pressure zone and has
a volume of 1.0 million gallons (MG). The North Tower provides elevated storage for the north
pressure zone and has a volume of 0.5 MG. Refer to Figure 2-3 for an overview of the pressures
zones within the water distribution system.
The south zone is on the same hydraulic grade line (HGL) as the Roseville Tower and is fed by
the Roseville Booster Station. The overflow elevation for this zone is 1086.50 ft.
The north zone is fed by the East Side Booster Station. The overflow elevation for this zone is
1130.00 ft.
