ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL — MAY 27, 2025 12 <br />Councilmember Monson stated she also attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the new fire <br />station. <br />Councilmember Monson commented she attended the NYFS annual luncheon. <br />Councilmember Monson reported she missed the Touch a Truck event but was happy to learn <br />over 400 people attended. <br />Councilmember Monson stated she would support the installation of a Mullens Garden sign at <br />Floral Park. <br />Councilmember Monson recommended action on the Flock cameras be delayed in order to <br />allow the Council to have more time before making a decision on this matter. <br />Mayor Grant stated he attended the Public Works employee appreciation luncheon with <br />Councilmember Holden. He explained he was happy to see the Public Works Department was <br />able to fill all of its seasonal positions. He thanked the Public Works crew for all of their efforts <br />on behalf of the City. <br />Mayor Grant commented he also attended the fire station groundbreaking ceremony and he was <br />pleased to be able to offer a short presentation and speech at this event. <br />Mayor Grant explained he served on the Council with former Mayor Bev Apilkowski and stated <br />she was very active in the community. <br />Mayor Grant provided the Council with an update from the Lake Johanna Fire Department <br />noting at their last meeting Public Safety Commissioner Bob Jacobsen, Representative Kelly <br />Moller and Ramsey County Commissioner Tera Jebens-Singh were all in attendance. <br />ADJOURN <br />MOTION: Councilmember Monson moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a <br />motion to adlourn.
