<br />Minutea of Special Council Heeting <br />Village of Arden Hilla <br />Monday, March 17, 1980 - 6:00 p.m. <br />VU1age Hall <br /> <br />Call to Order <br />Purauant to due call and notice thereof Mayor Henry J. Crapeau, Jr. <br />called the aeating to order at 6: 00 p.m. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Preaent: Mayor Henry J. Crepeau, Jr., Councilmen Charlie <br />Crichton, Ward Hanaon, Robert Woodburn. <br />Absent - Councilman J.... Wing.rt. <br />Also Present - Clerk Administrator Charlotte McNiesh, Parks nirectcr <br />Jobn Buckley, Public Works Superintendant I.d Johanaen. <br /> <br />Park Department Pickup Truck <br />Hanson moved, seconded by Crichton, that tha March 10th aotion <br />approving purchaaa of a truck froa Rosedale Chevrolet ba reacinded. <br />Motion carried unanimoualy. <br /> <br />Council reviewed the specifications and advertiaement for bid. <br />for a 9100 G.V.W. Pickup Truck with plow and contractor box <br />and hoiat. Crichton moved, seconded by Hanaon that the Spec- <br />ificationa and advartisement for bids be approved. Motion <br />carried unanimoualy. Bida to be opened at 1:00 p.m. on March 3lat. <br /> <br />Johanaen reported that a dealer bad inapected the 3/4 ton truck, <br />which ia to be aold in fall; atated it could be ao1d by City <br />for $3,500-$4,000. Johanaen suggeated using $3,500 for budgeting <br />purposes. Hanaon requeated Johansen to check equipment coats <br />carefully in preparing 1981 budgets to prevent cost overruna. <br /> <br />Park Dedication - Bethel College <br />Hanson reportsd that Bethel College ia amenable to having trail. <br />on their campua to be uaed in aatiafaction of park dadication <br />requirementa of Bethel College Campus. (Area east of Old Bighway <br />10.) The College will maintain the trails. Banson moved, <br />aeconded by Crichton, that the Village Attorney prepare necessary <br />lagal documenta for thfa park "adication by Bethel College. <br />Motion carried unanimoualy.
