It was agreed that the County Road E Task Force <br />Committee and interested businessmen be invited to the next <br />Finance meeting on Thursday, February 14th. to discuss pro- <br />posal. <br /> <br />Patrick Flaherty whoae properties represent substantial <br />frontage on COUDty Road E fevors the iuprovement~ but wae <br />not in favor of any improvement unless lines are buried. <br /> <br />Businesses represented felt it was essential to know how <br />special assessmenta would be levied and about what frout <br />foot and area coats would be and queried how much busineases <br />would be shut down during improvement. <br /> <br />It was agreed that Buckholz and McAllister ehould stimulate <br />feed back from residents via news articles. <br /> <br />McNiesh bri~fly discussed effect on mill rate if city part- <br />icipation was $250.000 spread over 20 'years. Assuming a <br />3 million increase in assessed value in .1981 base. 1981 levy <br />for improvement would be $30,000 or .625 mflls.
