AGENDA ITEM - 3A <br />-t4 LI�)EN_ HILL5 <br />MEMORANDUM <br />DATE: July 14, 2025 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br />FROM: Jessica Jagoe, City Administrator <br />SUBJECT: Zoning Code Update Discussion <br />Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: <br />N/A <br />Council Should Consider <br />N/A <br />Funding Source: <br />N/A <br />Council should discuss and provide direction to staff on zoning code updates within HKGi <br />Summary of Work Session #2 memo and recommendations brought forward for consideration. <br />Background <br />At the May 121h and 28th work sessions, the City Council began the review of the HKGi <br />Summary of Work Session #2 memo and recommendations. During the review of the Permitted <br />and Accessory Use Tables, the City Council tabled the discussion on the remainder of the Land <br />Use Table review and remaining items in the consultant memo to a future work session. <br />Below are the remaining discussion items that staff is looking for direction from the City Council <br />to share with HKGi: <br />Principal and Accessory Use Tables — HKGi has prepared the proposed principal and <br />accessory use tables for non-residential zoning districts. The consultants have made <br />recommendations on revisions for naming of uses and optional additional non-residential <br />uses to consider, as well as those uses for discussion of transitioning to Permitted with <br />Standards. Attachment B is the remaining land uses in the non-residential zoning <br />districts for Council discussion. <br />• Development Standards - HKGi sought feedback from the Planning Commission on <br />several code sections. Draft language in its entirety for each of these sections will be <br />brought back to the City Council at a future work session with HKGi present for <br />additional discussion.
