Sponsorship Discussion <br />Parks and Recreation Manager Skalicky presented the Sponsorship Policy. Council has <br />previously expressed interest in having a sponsorship program for Parks and Recreation <br />programs, events or upgrading city parks. She presented a brochure and policy for Council's <br />consideration. She researched surrounding communities to learn about their sponsorship <br />programs. It is very common for Cities to have sponsorship opportunities for their recreation <br />programs. This would allow local businesses to sponsor events and programs. She created a list of <br />20 cities that have a separate web page on their website for their sponsorship programs. She has <br />experience with sponsorship programs with her previous employers. She thinks having a brochure <br />to advertise sponsorship opportunities will make it easy for businesses or individuals to sponsor <br />
