Motion carrie:i unaniIrously. (5-0) <br /> <br />AOOPI' CONSEN!' Malone move:i, seconded by Hicks, to approve the Consent <br />CALENDAR Calendar and authorize execution of all necessary <br />documents contained therein, and not:in;J that Item 3 (a) , <br />MeIIIorand1.nn from the Park Director, is received for infonnation only and shall be <br />discussed with the Park Director at a later date: <br /> <br />a. Receive January 10, 1992 Memorarrlum from the Park Director on Program Funds. <br />b. Authorize Execution of Acknowle:igment of Consent for Fdgewater Estates. <br />c. (5-0) <br /> <br />PUBLIC OJMMENTS <br /> <br />Jean Lemberg, 1401 Skiles Lane, presented a letter <br />request:in;J Council schedule a specific date for an <br />informal meet:in;J to discuss the Snell:in;J Avenue/Trunk <br />Highway 51 median clos:in;J. <br /> <br />Mayor Sather suggested the matter be discussed at either the March or April <br />Worksession. <br /> <br />MEDIAN CIDSING; <br />SNELLING AVENUE <br />SOfEDULE MEEITNG <br /> <br />Council concurre:i to direct staff to make note to Council to schedule a <br />Worksession meet:in;J on March 23, at 4:30 p.m., to discuss the median clos:in;J. <br />staff was further directed to contact MN/IXJr representatives to be present to <br />address any questions from residents and to advertise the meet:in;J in the New <br />Brighton Bulletin and on the Cable TV O1annel. <br /> <br />Nancy Brunzel, vice-President of st. Paul Turner's, <br />made a presentation of two charitable gambl:in;J donations <br />to the Northwest Youth and Family Services and the <br />Ramsey County Safety Patrol, each check in the amount <br />of $15,000.00.
