ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL—JULY 14, 2025 2 Councilmember Holden asked if staff was going to notify the public that there was litigation. Mayor Grant reported on the advice of legal counsel the City Council would not be discussing litigation or the potential for litigation at this meeting. 3. PUBLIC INQUIRIES/INFORMATIONAL None. 4. RESPONSE TO PUBLIC INQUIRIES None. 5. PUBLIC PRESENTATIONS None. 6. STAFF COMMENTS A. Transportation Update Public Works Director Swearingen reported the 2025 street maintenance contractor completed chip sealing work last Friday and conducted an initial sweep of the streets. He indicated a fog seal would be done at the end of July or early August. B. Night to Unite Update Assistant to the City Administrator/City Clerk Hanson stated Night to Unite would be held on Tuesday, August 5. Residents were encouraged to register their neighborhood parties with the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office by Tuesday, July 22 in order to ensure a visit from a local Deputy and barricades can be reserved by calling City Hall by Tuesday, July 22. 7. APPROVAL OF MINUTES A. May 28, 2025, Special City Council B. May 28, 2025, Special City Council Work Session C. June 5, 2025, Special City Council D. June 9, 2025, City Council Work Session E. June 9, 2025, Regular City Council MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Weber seconded a motion to approve the May 28, 2025, Special City Council meeting minutes as presented, the May 28, 2025, Special City Council Work Session meeting minutes as amended, the June 5, 2025, Special City Council meeting minutes as amended, the June 9, 2025, City Council Work Session meeting minutes as amended; and the June 9, 2025, Regular City Council meeting minutes as amended. The motion carried 3-0-1 (Councilmember Rousseau abstained).
