6. St. Katherines Ukrainen Church - SUP The Planning Commission reviewed and approved the lot consolidation, Site Plan and SUP for a church to be constructed • on the corner of Snelling & TH 96. There are some outstanding traffic issues which need to be resolved. This will be reviewed by the City Council on September 26. 7. October Planning Agenda There are 3 items on this agenda. A. Lot Consolidation - 3743 New Brighton Road B. PM Concept Plan - Thom Drive C. Ordinance Amendment - number of animals 8. Park Dedication As you ]mow I have been involved in several discussions which relate to our public use dedication ordinance. A recent Supreme Court decision has caused several people to question how or if our ordinance still applies. I have contacted Mr. Filla for clarification. 9. Cottage Villas The project is proceeding. All SAC charges have now been received by the City. They have requested a delay in payment on the Park Dedication fees. I will be preparing a contract • and meeting with Councilman Hicks to discuss this further. 10. PDI Study Reviewed and updated the PDI time spent profiles for both Ta any'a and my position. 11. Miscellaneous Met with Alliant Tech Systems to discuss their operations in Arden hills. They have indicated that they would be willing to provide a tour of their site and operation. I will be working on setting this up in the near future. I also met with MetroVast Development this past week. They are asking that the City of Arden Hills formally join the oLyanization. The cost is $1000. I'm still considering this option. Our department continues to receive a great deal of planning related calls this fall. I'm averaging several calls a clay from citizens consiclPring variances or lot splits. As a last reminder I'll be on vacation September 16-20 and will • possibly be attending the Star City Conference September 21-23.
