Motion carried unanimously <br />(4-0) <br /> <br />Approval of Fall Park Program <br />Council was referred to the Proposed Fall Park Program and to <br />Buckley's memo of 8-23-82 re Weight Loss Clinic. <br /> <br />McAllister moved, seconded by Mulcahy, that Council approve the <br />Fall Park Program aa recommended by the Parks Committee. Motion <br />carried unanimously (4-0). <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE CLERK ADMINISTRATOR CHARLOTTE MC NIESH <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Gambling License"Application - Minnesota Deer Hunters Association <br />JohnsoD moved, seconded by Mulcahy, that Council approve issuance <br />of the Gambling License for Minnesota Deer Hunters Association, ss <br />per application received, subject to receipt of police recommen- <br />dation, and subject to the required 15 day waiting period (Ordi- <br />nance No. 225). Motion carried (Johnson, Mulcahy, Woodburn voting <br />in favor of the motion; McAllister opposed). (3-1) <br /> <br />Appointment Extension - Temporary Office Employee <br />Johnson moved, seconded by McAllister that Council approve the <br />extension of the appointment of temporary office employee Florence <br />Honan,as needed, until Jane Lund returns to work. Motion carried <br />unanimously (4-0). <br /> <br />Payroll <br />Council was referred to the Payroll, and one sdditional check, in <br />the amount of $243.95, to Annie McNamee, playground instructor, <br />for approval. <br /> <br />McAllister moved, seconded by Johnson, that Council approve the <br />Payroll and the additiona~ playground instructor check as pre- <br />.ented. Motion carried unanimoualy (4~0). <br /> <br />COUNCIL LIAISON REPORTS <br /> <br />Lindey's Triangle <br />McAllister reported she attended the Ramsey County meeting relative <br />to the "Lindey's" Triangle" property; reported there will be an- <br />other meeting on Sept. 7th at 10 a.m., Council Chambers, 3rd floor, <br />Court House; reported Engineer Weltzin recommends the retention of <br />the property by Ramsey County; suggested resident input at the <br />September meeting may help influence the Board's decision. <br /> <br />Pending Items for August 30th Agenda: <br /> <br />1. Ramsey County Action Programs, Inc. <br />Slide PresentatioD. <br />2. Inflow/Infiltration Study review <br />3. Noise Ordinance discussion. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Safety Problem on New Brighton Road at Perry Park <br />Council was referred to the Parks Minutes of Aug. 10th relative to <br />e safety problem on New Brighton Road and County Rd. E-2 in the <br />area of Perry Park.
