.

..
" ..
....

.

.

entwined with' the platting, but it had to in this case, when
we're discussing a large amount of platting here as well as the
feasibility. With respect to the feasibility, from what I've
heard here, it's money. It would seem to me that this study
benefits the property that would be platted and perhaps some
other lots and, therefore, if it's done in this way, we should
be told whether it's feasible or not by the engineer and the
developer because the improvements are for the plat and not
for anything else. If there is a road to be put through the
park, it has to benefit the park. If it thereby becomes un-
feasible, then our question here tonight is moot. We should
find that out at some meeting - I think that meeting should be
very shortly in the future. I agree that we should consider
what we've heard here tonight. If we have our minds made up
before a public hearing, then there's no use having the public
hearing. After considering everything, come back and dispose
of the issue one way or the other. 'If this should be - as I've
heard expressed - the wish of the Council, we could accomplish
that by tabling this until a definite time, at which time we
will reconsider the feasibility. Is that the wish of the
Council? Or do you wish to proceed at this point? If we pro-
ceed at this point, the first necessity would be approving
the plat.

COUNCILMAN McALLISTER: I have one question for Marcel.
What did you say the maximum assessment per lot was that you
could live wi th?

MR. EIBENSTEINER: I could live with $11,OOO, but to
answer the Mayor's comment, I would just as soon table this
for this evening and bring it up at the next Council meeting
and at that time make a decision.

MAYOR WOODBURN: There's been a request by Mr. Eibensteiner
for a little more time. What is the Council's wish? Entertain
a motion or any further discussion?

Councilman McAllister moved that the Council table its

action on Improvement No. SS-W-P-ST-81-5 (Roya~ Hills Plat)

until the Council's next regular meeting on February 8, 1982.

Councilman Hollenhorst seconded the motion, which carried

unanimously (4-0).

34
