MOTION: Hicks moved and Keirn seconded a motion to approve the December 26, 1995 and January 29,1996 Regular Council Meeting minutes as corrected. The motion carried unanimously (4-0). CONSENT CALENDAR A. Approval of Operating Transfers for 1995 B. Claims and Payroll MOTION: Hicks moved and Aplikowski seconded a motion to approve the Consent Calendar as presented, and authorize execution of all necessary documents contained therein. The motion carried unanimously (4-0). PUBLIC COMMENTS Mayor Probst invited the audicncc to address the Council on any issue not already on the agenda. Max Stontenburg, 1435 W. County Road, statcd he is opposed to the total reconstruction of Pascal A venue as approved, with full curb and gutter. Mr. Stoutenburg stated that he feels that curb and guttcr will not help the drainage problems on his street, due to the high water table and low land in the arca. Hc continued that he fclt that curb and gutter will only make the watcr flow more profusely, which would not resolve the drainage problem. He also noted that he is on a fixed income and cannot afford the assessments involved with the total reconstruction, as his property has 168 feet of frontage. Mayor Probst noted that the 1996 Street Improvement Project Update was on the agenda for later in the evening and that it would be discussed at that time. No other public comments were made.
