UNFINISHED AND NEW BUSINESS <br /> • A. Presentation of New Fund Balance Policy and GASB 54 Statement <br /> Sue Iverson covered the changes that staff was required to make to the fund structure,due to the <br /> implementation of GASB 54.The addition of new Internal Service funds and combining of <br /> Special Revenue funds was explained to the committee.Changes to the Fund Balance Policy were <br /> also covered as to how GASB 54 required minor changes to the policy. <br /> 4. REPORTS <br /> A. Reports from the City Council <br /> Mayor Grant informed the Committee on current events taking place in the city. Truth and <br /> Taxation was presented on December 5t.The Council approved a 1.8%levy increase for 2012 <br /> over 2011.Pulte Homes has sold 9 lots in the new Fox Ridge development.The demolition of the <br /> Pods off Lexington Ave and County Road E has been approved.Lastly he explained that CVS was <br /> no longer going to be constructed due to Walgreens closing on a deal before CVS could. <br /> 5.
