ARDEN HILLS SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION — AUGUST 11, 2025 19 <br />Councilmember Weber said the new Councilmember can just sit on the sidelines. <br />City Administrator Jagoe said we have not had the City Administrator present before. It has <br />always been Council. <br />Councilmember Weber said he would like to do Public Safety this year and he wants Public <br />Works next year. <br />Councilmember Monson said she supports that compromise. <br />Mayor Grant said Councilmember Holden can have Public Works and Parks and Recreation. <br />Councilmember Holden thought we were splitting those two. <br />Mayor Grant said now we are not. <br />Councilmember Holden agreed. <br />Mayor Grant doesn't know if we can say next year. <br />Councilmember Weber said he is trying to get her to give up a little ground but she's not <br />budging off of her mountain top. <br />Councilmember Holden told Councilmember Weber not to go there. We can have it all out here <br />now. <br />Councilmember Weber said, let's. <br />Councilmember Holden said she can talk to Mayor Grant and have conversations across the <br />table now. <br />Mayor Grant asked if Councilmember Holden wants the Public Works and Parks and Rec. <br />Councilmember Holden confirmed she wants Public Works. <br />Mayor Grant summarized the assignments. <br />Councilmember Rousseau is fine to do the Admin introduction. She thought if Public Safety is a <br />lighter topic than Community Development then Councilmember Weber can have that. <br />City Administrator Jagoe said she had Councilmember Monson down for the Admin. Public <br />Safety is statistics for Lake Johanna Fire Department and Sheriff's Department. It's just two <br />slides. <br />Councilmember Holden said we need to build in the cost this time. <br />City Administrator Jagoe said we can include some new content. Last year it was just two <br />slides. <br />
