Public Works Director / City Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Resolution 2025-056 Accepting Donation from the Arden Hills Foundation <br />Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br />N/A $300.65 N/A <br />Council Should Consider <br />Motions to approve, table, or deny the following: <br />• Resolution 2025-056 Accepting a Donation from the Arden Hills Foundation in the <br />amount of $300.65 for neighborhood watch signs. <br />Background/Discussion <br />The Arden Hills Foundation has been established as a 5010 organization. Pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statutes Section 465.03 for the benefit of its citizens, cities are authorized to accept gifts and <br />bequests for the benefits. <br />On November 9, 2020 the City Council approved Resolution 2020-058 Accepting a Donation from <br />the Arden Hills Foundation in the amount of $1,300.00 for neighborhood watch signs. Attachment <br />B is a memo providing the background on that donation. <br />Since then, there have been 7 Neighborhood Watch Signs identified for replacement. Per <br />Resolution 2025-056, the Arden Hills Foundation has donated $300.65 to the City of Arden Hills <br />for replacing existing neighborhood watch signs.
