Regardless
of the rain, residents came together for an afternoon of free food,
games and entertainment. The picnic was held at Cummings Park
and featured more than a dozen yard games hosted by Arden
Hills Playground Staff and the Shoreview/Arden Hills Lions Club.
Health vendors were on site to connect attendees with local
providers, while free hot dogs, snacks and drinks were served
indoors. In the pavilion, live acoustic music created a relaxed atmosphere alongside
balloon art, face painting and informational presentations from local naturalists.
Thank you, Volunteers!
The City of Arden Hills’ staff would like to say “Thank You” to all of the volunteers who dedicated
their time and energy throughout the summer. This includes the Arden Hills/Shoreview Rotary Club
volunteers and anyone who coached a youth sports team. Summer is one of the busiest times of the
year and our volunteers play a vital role in keeping programs running smoothly, welcoming attendees
and ensuring events are enjoyable for all. Whether lending a helping hand with setup, organizing
equipment, guiding activities or bringing a friendly smile, your contributions make a lasting difference. We are
grateful for your commitment to service and to building a strong, connected community. Arden Hills is a better place
because of you!
Regular Office Hours Resume at City Hall
As of Tuesday, Sept. 2, City Hall resumed regular office hours. vThe building is open to the
public Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and for public meetings outside normal
hours. Enjoy the
fall weather while your dogs have a chance to win prizes and make new friends.
Flashlight Pumpkin Hunt – October 4
The Flashlight Pumpkin Hunt, hosted by the Parks & Recreation Department, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 4, from
7 to 8:30 p.m. at Cummings Park. Wear your favorite costume to participate in a prize drawing.
Enjoy treats, refreshments and some spooky games!
Everyone is welcome, but the Pumpkin Hunt activity is intended for children ages 2-12. The cost
to participate is $13 per resident or $15 per non-resident.
