<br /> I <br /> I ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL - OCTOBER 15. 1996 9 <br /> t' Mayor Probst expressed his concern that the water quality of Lake Johanna is diminishing and <br /> commented on the need to determine actions which will improve water quality. He noted that <br /> I residents sometimes blow grass clippings onto the street or deposit them in the lake. Mayor <br /> Probst commented on the importance of educating the public regarding the resulting <br /> environmental problems and stated hc will work with staff and may suggest the formation of a <br /> I task force to address this concern. <br /> Councilmember Hicks asked if some lake property owners do not understand that depositing <br /> I grass clippings into the lake will add to its nutrients and diminish water quality.
