<br /> < . <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS . <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA . <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 346 <br /> AN INTERIM ORDINANCE <br /> EXTENDING THE DEVELOPMENT <br /> MORATORIUM RELATING TO THE <br /> CONSTRUCTION OF BOATHOUSES <br /> WITHIN THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> THE ARDEN HIllS CITY COUNCIL <br /> ORDAINS, <br /> 1.0~. <br /> A. On the 12th day of August, 2002 <br /> the Arden Hills City Council adopted <br /> Ordinance No. 341, which impJementeda <br /> development moratorium relating to the <br /> construction of boathouses and which will <br /> expire on the 16th day of OctOber. 2003. <br /> B. The City at Arden Hills is in the <br /> process of revising its Zoning and <br /> Shorerand RegUlations. <br /> C. Additional time will be required in <br /> order to coordinale the Proposed <br /> changes to boathouse regUlations wilh <br /> the proposed changes to the Zoning and <br /> Shoreland Regulations, <br /> D. In order to protect Ihe integrity of <br /> its comprehensive plan, the planning <br /> process, and Ihe health, safety and <br /> weltareo' the citizens of the Clry of Arden <br /> Hills, Ihe City Council haB detennined <br /> that the development moratorium relating <br /> to Ihe construction of boathouses needs <br /> to be extended. <br /> 2.0 Devp.~nment u"".Rtorll.!m. No <br /> boathouse sharf be constructed, nor shall <br /> alterations be made to existing <br /> boathouses during the term of the <br /> moratOrium. <br /> 3.0 DUration of Moratorlllll1. The <br /> development mOratorium Originally . <br /> adopted by Ordinance No. 341 shall be <br /> extended for six (El) mOnths COmmencing <br /> on October 15, 2003 and terminating on <br /> April 15, 2004. <br /> 4.0 Enfo"-'Am&f]t. The City may enforce <br /> any provision of this ordinance by <br /> mandamus, injunction or any other <br /> appropriate civil remedy in -any court of <br /> competent JuriSdiction. <br /> 5.0 Sf'onal1llblllb/:. E....ery section, provi- <br /> sion or other pan of this Ordinance is <br /> declared separable from e....ery other <br /> section, provision or part of this ordi- <br /> nance.
