APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Chair Murchie called the meeting to order. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Brausen and seconded by Commissioner Gronquist <br />to approve the agenda. Motion passed unanimously <br /> <br /> <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />A. April 23, 2025 <br /> <br />Commissioner Poelzer corrected that on Page 6 she is quoted as saying Boston Scientific paid for <br />the dog park. They paid for the agility equipment at the dog park. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Gronquist and seconded by Commissioner Brausen <br />to approve the minutes, as amended. Motion passed unanimously <br /> <br />3. UNFINISHED AND NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. EDC Work Plan <br /> <br />Senior Planner Fransen said the EDC did a lot of great work in 2024. Several strategies were <br />implemented. She wanted to discuss the items on the list and make sure the goals are still aligned. <br />Some of the work plan ideas included a business survey, a business directory with a map, business <br />highlights in the City newsletter, a business welcome packet, community event for business <br />networking, community event for residents to learn about local businesses.
