<br />b. By early-August send broadcast email to all businesses on file, create list of emails that went <br />through and those that did not. Work to gain current email addresses to use later for other <br />communications. Purpose of email is to inform businesses of city newsletter and encourage <br />them to sign-up for the electronic version. Included a link and/or pdf of most recent newsletter. <br /> <br />3. Promote event through all channels via email sent by council, staff, community agencies such as <br />T.C.North Chamber of Commerce, T.C. Gateway <br /> <br />4. Announce event as part of council work-sessions and meetings that are recorded and broadcast to <br />community <br /> <br /> <br />5. Post flyer on city hall bulletin boards on wall and include in city emails as a notice <br /> <br />6. Stretch for attendance of 1/8th of businesses to attend given this is first time event in decades. <br />Typically, new events take a minimum of 3 times for large attendance. <br /> <br />Segments completed by staff as needed. Additional help by EDC members. <br />Budget: envelopes and printing for mailer card, save-the-date, invitation, and postage <br /> <br />Also: <br />Consider potential revenue streams, sponsorships. <br />Developing a promotional timeline that spans pre-event, during-event, and post-event phases is crucial. <br />During the event, manage logistics, introductions, and ensure a positive attendee experience. Facilitate <br />networking opportunities. <br />Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like registration, attendance, engagement, and ROI. Gather feedback <br />through surveys or social media, analyze the results to optimize future events, and follow up with personalized <br />thank-you messages and event highlights. <br />
