Consultant’s Initial Reactions <br />11 22 33 44 <br />Park and trail safety, <br />accessibility, and <br />connectivity are very <br />important to park users in <br />Arden Hills. <br />Several survey respondents <br />cited limited trail <br />connections between <br />parks, limited lighting in <br />parks and along trails, and <br />limited parking as specific <br />concerns regarding <br />park and trail safety and <br />accessibility. <br />Survey respondents feel <br />like they’re missing out <br />on several important <br />amenities and facilities in <br />many parks. <br /> <br />Permanent restrooms, <br />drinking fountains, splash <br />pads, off-leash dog parks, <br />nature play areas, and <br />wayfinding signs were <br />just a few amenities <br />respondents were <br />interested in seeing more <br />of. <br />According to respondents <br />of the community survey, <br />the top five most used <br />parks in Arden Hills are: <br />1. Cummings Park <br />2. Floral Park <br />3. Tony Schmidt Regional <br />Park <br />4. Royal Hills Park <br />5. Hazelnut Park <br />The top five new park <br />amenities, attractions, or <br />programs residents would <br />like to see include: <br />1. Paved trails <br />2. Nature play areas <br />3.
