ARDEN HILLS PLANNING COMMISSION – May 7, 2025 12 <br /> <br /> <br />REPORTS <br /> <br />A. Report from the City Council <br /> <br />Council Liaison Weber provided the Commission with an update from the City Council. He <br />thanked the Commissioners for their in depth discussion on the items presented by staff. He <br />commented on the groundbreaking ceremony that was held for Micro Control Company at Rice <br />Creek Commons. He reviewed the items the Council discussed at their last meeting and <br />explained the Old Highway 10 trail recently received two additional funding sources. <br /> <br />B. Planning Commission Comments and Requests <br /> <br />Commissioner Bjorklund questioned what the status was of hiring a new Community <br />Development Director. <br /> <br />City Administrator Jagoe reported the City would be reposting and seeking applications for <br />this position. <br /> <br />Commissioner Burlingame stated in completing researching items for this meeting, he was <br />concerned the City was over regulating businesses and thrift store uses. <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br />Chair Collins moved, seconded by Commissioner Burlingame, to adjourn the May 7, 2025, <br />Planning Commission Meeting at 9:03 p.m. The motion carried unanimously (6-0). <br />
