10/13/2025 <br />Cottage Courtyard <br />Precedent imagery <br />z <br />-,�EN HUI-I <br />Cottage Courtyard <br />Example use specific standards <br />a) A cotta a courtyard development shall consist of at least four and no more than 12 dwelling units located <br />aroundga shared, centrally located courtyard. <br />b) The common courtyard shall be at least 20 feet in width and depth. <br />c) A cottage courtyard development may have more than one courtyard. <br />d) Each dwelling unit shall have a maximum height of 25 feet. <br />e) Each dwelling unit shall have a maximum ground floor area of 900 square feet. <br />f) Each dwelling unit shall have the primary entrance oriented to the shared courtyard. <br />g) Each dwelling unit abutting a public street shall have windows on the facade oriented to the public street. <br />h) Accessory buildings. No accessory buildings shall be allowed except for a one -stall detached garage for each <br />dwelling unit and accessory buildings for use by the homeowners association. <br />i) Parking areas shall not be located in any required yard abutting a public street. <br />j) Accessory dwelling units are prohibited. <br />k) Dwelling units may be located on one parcel or on individual parcels for each dwelling unit with a separate <br />parcel far common open spaces and facilities. <br />,1 DIDEN H1LLI <br />8 <br />21 <br />
