<br /> . <br /> . <br /> MINUTES OF REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br /> Village of Arden Hills <br /> Monday, December 29, 1986 <br /> Village Hall <br /> Call to Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Woodburn called the meeting to <br /> order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Present: Mayor Robert Woodburn, Councilmembers Dale Hicks, Nancy <br /> Hansen, Gary Peck and Thomas Sather. <br /> Also Present: Treasurer Donald Lamb, Public Works Supervisor Robert <br /> Raddatz, Parks Director John Buckley, Clerk Administrator <br /> 4 Charlotte McNiesh, Clerk Administrator Patricia Morrison and <br /> Deputy Clerk Catherine Iago. <br /> Closed MeetinK Labor NeKotiations - 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. <br /> Council discussed Labor Negotiations. <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> Sather moved, seconded by Peck, that Council approve the Minutes of the Special <br /> Arden Hills/Shoreview Meeting of December 6th and the Regular Council Minutes <br /> of December 8th, as submitted. Motion carried unanimously. (5-0) <br /> Business from Floor <br /> None. <br /> Resolution No. 86-61. HONORING CHARLOTTE MCNIESH <br /> Mayor read the resolution commending Charlotte McNiesh upon her retirement from <br /> the Village of Arden Hills after 24 years of employment and presented her with <br /> a plaque and corsage. Councilmembers extended their wishes to Charlotte and <br /> her family for continuing good health and happiness. <br /> Charlotte stated her years of employment were most rewarding thanks to the <br /> elected officials providing leadership, to the City staff for their teamwork <br /> and to the residents for their volunteer work on the various committees. <br /> Hansen moved, seconded by Peck, that Council approve Resolution No. 86-61, <br /> Commending Charlotte McNiesh for her years of service to the City of Arden <br /> Hills. Motion carried unanimously. (5-0) <br /> Use of GaraKe Structure, 1355 CumminKs Lane - Frank Ranallo <br /> Council was referred to McNiesh's letter to Mr. Ranallo, reI the proposed use <br /> of the garage structure at 1355 Cummings Lane. <br /> Frank Ranallo appeared before the Council and stated he had explained to the <br /> City staff he has no intention of using the garage structure for commercial <br /> use. He noted the front end loader and dump trucks on the property would be <br /> removed after construction of his home is completed. <br /> Hicks asked what Ranallo intended to store in the garage. <br /> Ranallo advised he did not feel that should be a concern of the Councilor the <br /> neighbors, however. he intended to store home maintenance equipment in the <br /> structure. He also advised that the largest of the garage doors was to <br /> accommodate his motor-home. Ranallo stated Councilmembers could check the <br /> ,0 .""" premises when construction of his home is completed to see if the heavy <br /> ---'WI' equipment has been removed. <br /> Hansen advised that Council appreciated Ranallo's appearance at the meeting to <br /> discuss this matter. <br /> REPORT OF PARKS DIRECTOR JOHN BUCKLEY <br /> Appointment of Kevin Fuller to ReKular Full-Time Employee Status - <br /> 1-1-87 <br /> Council was referred to Buckley's memorandum of 12/19/86, recommending the L-- <br /> appointment of Kevin Fuller to regular full-time employee status and wage <br /> increase after successful completion of his probationary period. <br /> \, <br /> --'- <br />
