Roll Call—Present: Mark Kelliher, Ray McGraw, Clayton Zimmerman, Chuck <br /> Mertensotto, Terry Nygaard, Chuck Stoddard. Absent: Aaron Fredrickson. <br /> City Officials: Lois Rem, Dwayne Stafford, Terry Post (until 7:35 p.m.). <br /> 3. The minutes of December 19, 1999 were approved as written. <br /> 4. Old Business: <br /> A. Sewer and water source discussion. Ray McGraw moved that we shelve the <br /> discussion until Council directs us to look into the matter. Our contract for water <br /> with Roseville/St. Paul runs until 2002. Seconded (Nygaard) and approved <br /> unanimously. <br /> • B. Mark Kelliher led a discussion of water rates. Committee members are to contact <br /> various surrounding municipalities with the following questions: <br /> a. The source of the water. <br /> b. Rates—greater or lesser than cost. <br /> c. Any future water/sewer issues on the horizon. <br /> d. Same rates for residential and commercial. <br /> e. Sewer bill linked to water bill. <br /> f. Discounts for any special interest groups. <br /> g. Conservation measures. <br /> 5. City Assessment Policy. Ray McGraw reported on his conversation with Shoreview <br /> officials regarding their assessment policy. <br /> 6. Trash Haulers. Ray McGraw distributed a package of reports on the matter of trash <br /> pickup and noted the number of trucks involved in this business on Arden Hills streets <br /> throughout the week. <br /> 7. Staff Updates: <br /> A. Dwayne Stafford—season to catch up on maintenance and training. <br /> B. Lois Rem—Ingerson road project. <br /> • <br />
