• CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> DATE: December 9, 1999 <br /> TO: Operations and Finance Committee Members <br /> FROM: Mark Kelliher,Committee Chair <br /> Dwayne Stafford,Public Works Director <br /> SUBJECT: Operations and Finance Committee,December Agenda <br /> The City has no sign or special requests for review for the December meeting. <br /> Committee members will be able to get back to work on the issues prioritized at previous <br /> meetings. The Committee Chair asks that members review and bring along previously provided <br /> information on the sewer and water rates and the City's Assessment Policy. <br /> Committee members may be asked to consider breaking into sub-committees to review some of <br /> the prioritized issues, and provide information to the committee as a whole for recommendations <br /> on possible changes. <br /> • City Finance Director, Terry Post,will be available to provide his expertise on the sewer and <br /> water rates, as well as the Assessment Policy. <br /> Enclosed is a copy of the City of Maplewood's newsletter regarding garbage collection. It may <br /> be worthwhile to talk to Maplewood to see where they are at with their garbage collection <br /> organization, as they seem to have the same issues as Arden Hills. <br /> Also enclosed is a response from Ramsey County regarding a request by the City for uniform <br /> speed limits on Old Highway 10/Old Snelling Avenue in Arden Hills. <br /> • <br />
