1111/ b) Water Main Lateral Rates <br /> The building service assessments described below will be deducted <br /> from the total improvement cost to be assessed. The amount <br /> remaining after said deductions will be assessed by the following <br /> method. The resulting assessment will be known as a lateral <br /> benefit assessment. <br /> 1 . Front Footage Basis <br /> Determine the total assessible front footage of all lots and <br /> equivalent lot units receiving lateral benefit and divide the <br /> project cost by the total of assessible front footage. Each <br /> lot or equivalent lot unit assessment is equal to the total <br /> assessible front footage per unit multiplied by the front <br /> footage assessment. <br /> c) Water Main Building Service <br /> The assessment rate for each size of building service 3/4 inch to <br /> 8 inch shall be determined by adding all the costs associated with <br /> each size of service and dividing by the total number of services <br /> constructed. Each unit will be assessed at the determined rate <br /> Ir <br /> for each size and number of services installed.
