~ ----
.
. .
Minutes of Regular Council Meeting, September 30
Page five
October Council Meetin~ Schedule
Council concurred that October Council meetings be scheduled on Tuesday,
October 15, and Monday, October 28.
Claims and Payrolls
Sather moved, seconded by Hansen, that Council approve the Claims and Payroll
as presented. Motion carried unanimously. (4-0)
Wynrid~e Area Street Lights - Status Report
Public Works Supervisor Robert Raddatz reported that he met with Don Zettel,
NSP, relative to the two lights (Cummings Park culcde-sac and intersection
of Wyncrest Court and Hamline Avenue).
..,
Raddatz reported that both locations will require the installation of a pole;
. reported that the location of the cul-de-sac pole has been determined and
will be installed shortly by NSP; advised that the previously proposed location
at the Hamline/Wyncrest intersection, on our existing pole, will have to
be changed because the existing pole carries high voltage.
Raddatz said, because this light location also involves setting a pole,
it would be better to wait until the street width is determined re Hamline
Avenue Improvement. Raddatz said there will be a fee for the post and a
fee for carrying a wire to the cul-de-sac location; will probably not be
a fee for the wire on Hamline.
Raddatz said one option for the Hamline light would be between Wyncrest Court
and Colleen, to serve both intersections -- noted these two streets may be
too far apart to light them effectively.
Council tabled the Hamline/Wyncrest light location pending road width' from
Engineer Christoffersen.
Ad;ournment
Hansen moved, seconded by Peck, that the meeting adjourn at 10:13 p.m. Motion
carried unanimously.
