<br />. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />MINUTES OF SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING <br />Village of Arden Hills <br />Thursday, September 12, 1985 - 8:30 p.m. <br />Village Hall <br /> <br />Call to Order <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Woodburn called the meeting to <br />order at 8:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Robert Woodburn, <br />Gary Peck, Dale Hicks <br />None <br /> <br />Councilmembers Thomas Sather, Nancy Hansen, <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Preliminary En~ineerinR ARreement - Northern States Power <br />Council was referred to NSP letter of September 6, 1985, re Preliminary <br />Engineering Agreement for cost estimate for protection of NSP poles along <br />Hamline Avenue. <br /> <br />Hicks moved, seconded by Sather, that Council authorize payment of $800 to NSP, <br />representing 80% of preliminary engineering costs, and authorize execution <br />of the Preliminary Engineering Agreement for preparation of detailed plans and <br />cost estimates for pole relocation along Hamline Avenue. Motion carried <br />unanimously. (5-0) <br /> <br />It was noted that Hamline Avenue has been designated as a potential Arden <br />Hills "parkway"; elimination of the overhead lines should therefore be a <br />consideration, if the cost of burying the lines is not prohibitive. Council <br />asked the City Engineer for a rough estimate of cost to bury these lines. <br /> <br />Ad;ournment <br />Hansen moved, seconded by Peck, that the meeting adjourn at 8:45 p.m. Motion <br />carried unanimously.
