CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> ORDINANCE No. 318 <br /> AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO CHARITABLE GAMBLING <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS HEREBY ORDAINS THAT <br /> CHAPTER 4, ARTICLE 1, DIVISION 5, SECTION 4-43 OF THE ARDEN HILLS CITY <br /> CODE IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 4-43. Trade Area Exuenditure <br /> An organization permitted to conduct lawful gambling within the City shall expend at <br /> least fifty percent (50%) of the net profits that it derives from lawful gambling conducted <br /> within the City for lawful purposes within the trade area and/or to support the activities of <br /> a governmental entity within Ramsey County, Minnesota. In determining the trade area <br /> expenditure requirement, a permitted organization shall not include expenditures made to <br /> itself or expenditures made for the purpose of erecting, acquiring, improving, expanding, <br /> repairing, or maintaining real property or capital assets owned or leased by the <br /> organization, or for the reduction of any debt incurred by the organization for such <br /> purposes. <br /> . Effective Date. This ordinance shall become effective the day following its publication in the <br /> City's official newspaper. <br /> Adoption Date.
