Ostlund said completion of the fire road <br /> around the building will be completed at this time also. <br /> Ostlund reported that the arcade link to the boiler room has been . <br /> completed, and on access window and door have been installed for use <br /> by the Fire Department; they have not received a letter from the <br /> Fire Chief to date relative to boiler room access approval. <br /> (McNiesh to check on this with Chief Koch). . <br /> Ostlund reported that the second arcade link to the locker rooms <br /> is proposed in 1-2 years. <br /> In review of the landscape plan, Miller noted the existing ash and <br /> oak trees along County Road F are of good size; reported that <br /> pines, about 12' high, have now been planted between these trees; <br /> noted that the approximate 800' long parking lot is still visible <br /> to the residential area across the street and from County Road F; <br /> explained that the problem is to block visibility without also <br /> creating a security problem for the school. <br /> Ostlund said they do want to spruce up the grounds; would like to <br /> accomplish this and not obscure the parking lot; said a hedge is a <br /> possibility, but not their choice, because of the difficult <br /> maintenance so far from the building. <br /> After discussion, Hicks stated that Council recognizes that Mounds . <br /> View High School has met the contingency of the Amended Special <br /> Use Permit concerning adequate water availability for fire protection, <br /> and grants occupancy of the gymnasium. <br /> Ordinance No. 235, Amending Appendix A - Zoning Ordinance, Chaper 14 - <br /> Mobile Homes and Chapter 8 - Excavation of the City Code - Introduce <br /> by Title <br /> Rauenhorst moved, seconded by Hansen, that Council introduce <br /> Ordinance No. 235 by title. Hotion carried unanimously. (4-0) <br /> Commissioners' Final Report of Damages - Reiling Condemnation <br /> Council was referred to Attorney Lynden's letter of 11/20/84 re City <br /> of Arden Hills vs. George J. Reiling -- Commissioners' Final Report <br /> of Damages. <br /> McNiesh reported that the attorney recommends no appeal of the <br /> $33,500.00 decision; reported that she has not contacted Eibensteiner;. <br /> explained that the cost will be charged against the project and <br /> pro-rated to both properties at the time of assessment. . <br /> Rauenhorst moved, seconded by Hansen, that Council concur with <br /> Lynden's recommendation and not appeal the decision. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. (4-0) . <br /> Policy/Procedural Memorandum - Industrial or Commercial Revenue <br /> Financing <br /> After discussion, Rauenhorst moved, seconded by Mulcahy, that Council <br /> approve the City of Arden Hills Industrial or Commercial Revenue <br /> Financing Policy/Procedural Memorandum as submitted. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. (4-0) <br /> ------- <br />
