Third Fire Station Woodburn reported that he received a telephone call from a newspaper reporter that Shoreview has decided to remove the Shoreview taxing district, north of Highway 96, from the present formula, and build and operate the 3rd fire station without financial participation of North Oaks and Arden Hills. Cable Ordinance Amendment McNiesh reported that a copy of the New Franchise Ordinance Amendment draft has been referred to Attorney Lynden. It was reported that Sauer recommends approval of the amendment. Christiansen moved, seconded by Hicks, that Council authorize the City Attorney to draft the Cable Ordinance Amendment for Council's First Reading. Motion carried unanimously. Motion carried unanimously. (4-0) Fireworks Permit - North Lake Jose~hine Improvement Association Rauenhorst moved approval of the Flreworks Permit for North Lake Josephine Improvement Association as per request. Motion was seconded by Hicks and carried unanimously. (4-0) Finance Committee Appointment Deferred to next Regular Council Meeting.
