The 2025 City Tax Rate is 27.6484%. The estimated 2026 City tax rate, based on the most current <br />information, with an 18.32% levy increase, is 31.8656%. <br />Based on the changes assumed in the preliminary levy and the changes identified since the September <br />29, 2025 Special City Council Meeting, the annual levy would now be: <br />Set levy at $7,045,829 (an increase of $1,017,817 or 16.88% over 2025). <br />This assumes a balanced levy increase of $1,002,817, a $180,000 PIR levy increase, an offset of <br />($165,000) from excess franchise fees. <br />Another levy option has been provided below, should Council want to consider going with a lower levy. <br />Set levy at $6,945,829 (an increase of $917,817 or 15.23% over 2025). <br />This assumes a balanced levy increase of $1,002,817, a $180,000 PIR levy increase, an offset of <br />($165,000) from excess franchise fees, and a decrease of ($100,000) to the EDA levy (set EDA levy to <br />zero). <br />Page 5 of 7 <br />
