Agenda Items I a. Approval of Minutes The City Council is asked to adopt the Minutes from the December 21, 1995, Council Worksession and January 2,1996, Regular Council meetings. The I December 26, 1995, Meeting Minutes have not been completed by the Recording Secretary and should be prepared for approval at the next Meeting, I b. Consent Calendar I. Claims and Payroll Ie The City Council is asked to approve claims in the amount of $197,234.53 and payroll for the period most recently ended. The Council should note payments for January law enforcement and sewer charges. I c. Unfinished and New Business I. Darlene Scott Proclamation I The Council is asked to adopt the enclosed Proclamation thanking Darlene Scott for her years of service at Arden Hills. Staff will have this document framed before presenting it to Darlene. Staff has invited her to the I Meeting to be presented with the Proclamation by the City Council. 2. Resolution #96-05. 1996 Trail Development Project I The Council is asked to adopt Resolution #96-05, ordering the preparation of plans and specifications for the 1996 trail development project. This action will authorize proceeding with the process to asphalt a portion of I the municipal trail system in the area of McChmg Drive and the neighboring town home property. I 3. Resolution #96-06. Highway 96 Trail Development Project The Council is asked to adopt Resolution #96-06, supporting the I reconstruction of Highway 96 and recommending certain design issues to Ramsey County. Staff has evaluated the proposed plan and has made fI several recommendations to the Council in regards to project design and timing, I -------
