No final decisions have been made. but here is a possible formula: <br />Ie <br /> City of Blaine City of Coon Rapids <br />I 100% of one Rink 100% of one Rink <br />I <br /> Moundsview 50 % Forest Lake 50% <br />I IrondaIe 50% + Open <br /> Fomlula pending to involve Possible panners to share rink <br /> Cities of Shoreview, Arden include Spring Lake Park, <br />I Hills, New Brighton and Centennial, Brooklyn Park. and <br /> lYtoundsview East River (Fridley) <br /> The final dis- <br />I cuss ion will be made cooperatively between the MASC and participating cities with financial <br /> commitments. <br />I Public Policv Considerations - Paul Erickson, of the MASC, explained that the MASC <br /> Board will require each community to have representation in the Master Agreement via their <br /> respective city governments or school districts. Paul offered his help to meet with local govern- <br />Ie ment representatives. The MASC ideally desires to have a Master Agreement with govern- <br /> ments along with the key community groups. <br />I It was explained that the MASC/NSc will be signing a twenty year obligation to retire <br /> Government Obligation Bonds principle and interest payments. The MASC desires the stability <br /> of city government participation as partners to ensure that the communities annual allotment of <br />I ice time is fully subscribed. <br />I Clarification on Access from Non-Partners - Paul Erickson, Executive Director - If a city <br /> in the area elects not to financially participate (i.e their association/city/school district ends up <br /> not being a financial participant via the down payment or 20 year contract); their programs will <br />I not have access to the facility. <br /> For example, if Centennial YouthHockey Association District #12, Circle Pines, Lexington, <br />I Lino Lakes or Centerville chose not to be a financial participant; the following groups would <br /> not l1ave any access to the facility. <br />I Centennial Hockey Association <br /> Centennial Figure Skating Association <br /> Centennial High Scl1001 Girls & Boys varsity and junior varsity ice hockey <br />I City Rereution & Community Education Programs <br />f' <br />I <br />
