Mr. Stafford presented a petition from residents requesting the City to begin this activity. <br /> Council discussed many considerations of why the City is not presently plowing <br />. sidewalks and trails, Council referred this item to the Public Works and Safety <br /> Committee for a specific recommendation, <br />. ADMINISTRATOR COMMENTS <br /> After discussion, Council gave direction to Mr. Fritsinger to renew the City's 1996 <br /> membership in the Ramsey County League of Governments, Councilmember <br />. Aplikowski volunteered to stay active with this organization. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />. Councilmember Malone discussed several topics including LJVFD pension liability, a <br /> National Guard engineering invoice, a meeting with Senator Runbeck, concern with MSA <br /> documentation and concern with the cpr property tax petition. <br />. Councilmember Keirn inquired if the City had a policy concerning park memorials. Ms. <br />. Walsh indicated that Ramsey County had a formal tree dedication program, <br /> Councilmember Aplikowski inquired as to the status of the Climb Theatre premises <br />.. permit renewal. <br /> Councilmember Hicks updated the Council on information regarding the development of <br />I the University airport property in Shoreview. <br /> Mayor Probst discussed several issues, including renaming County Road F, a funding <br />. request from the Valentine Hills PTA for playground equipment, a TCAAP update and <br /> preliminary Councilmember liaison appointments. The Valentine PTA request was <br /> recommended to go to the Parks/Recreation Committee for a specific recommendation. <br />.
