<br /> I <br /> I <br /> I- CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> I DATE: February 9, 1996 <br /> I TO: Mayor and City Council <br /> FROM: Brian Fritsinger, City Administrat~ <br /> I <br /> SUBJECT: 1996 Street Improvement Project <br /> I Attached, the City Council will find two letters from residents of Pascal Avenue. These two <br /> letters identify additional concerns of the residents. Most of these items were mentioned at the <br /> January 29, 1996, meeting. <br /> I Staff has been in contact with a number of residents who did no1 attend the Public Hearing. As <br /> I of Friday, there were also several residents whom Staff had left messages for, but have not <br /> received a response. Staff will continue to respond to calls and questions. <br /> I. Of those residents who have been in contact with Staff, there do not appear to be any significant <br /> issues to be addressed. Some of the comments received from different areas of the project were: <br /> I 1. Pascal A venue - See enclosed letters. <br /> 2. Chatham/McCracken - Residents on corner lots expressed concern about <br /> I the potential assessments. Reference was made to previous work and <br /> assessments on Chatham. <br /> I 3. Pine Tree Drive - The businesses would like to have access to their <br /> operations clearly defined and interruptions reduced to the greatest extent <br /> I possible. <br /> 4. Siems Court/Ridgewood Court - Several residents expressed concern <br /> I abou1 the assessments. At least one resident does not have access to <br /> Ridgewood Court. <br /> I The preparation of plans and specifications is proceeding as directed by the City Council. Staff <br /> would like to briefly review the intent of the Council as to communicating the final plans wi1h <br /> residents of Oak and Pascal A venues. <br /> I BF:sae <br /> I . <br /> I <br />
